NOTE:

The CC Shuttle Bus from TST to Caribbean Coast is in the Hankow Road (still along Peninsula Hotel), since some road renovation is still ongoing along Middle Road.

Hi,

Just wondering if you know how long it takes from CC to Central on this bus service?  If leaving at 710am what time would the bus arrive in Central?

Cheers.

I didn't even know this service was avilable!  I guess I should pay more attention.

How much does it cost to use the shuttle?

Dizzy, thanks so much for taking the time to post the bus timetables. This is very helpful. I've been looking at flats in CC for a while now, but have been dreading a daily commute to Wan Chai. I heard a whisper that there were shuttle buses to TST and Central, but all the real estate agents I have spoken to said they do not exist ?!

Anyway, does anyone know how long it takes to get to TST, and how much does the service cost? I apologise if this has been asked, previously.

Cheers,
Naomi

The bus to TST takes about 30 minutes (good traffic) and costs $16 (corrected) $13 one way.

The bus to Central takes about 35-40 minutes (again depending on the traffic) and costs $18 one way.

Heard a rumour that the prices may be going up in June.

Hey,
I am newly joined member. Newly shifted to Tung Chung area in early May.
This bus facility is really convinient.. But the application procedure and staff in central office: My goodness... Just kills.
I was feeling as if I should literally kill the girl calling me for the application status but understands not a single word  in English.

Also, I wonder, their documents requirements is such a illogical.
a) Why do I need to authorize from Landlord. What if he denies or what if he is not in HK.
b) They need original application form signed ORIGINALLY by applicant. In this world, when all banks, financial  institutions accepts signature on fax or email, these people are so crazy and anyways they are not providing any treasure for which they are so strict.
c) Land search. My God, they can't accept 1.5 month old. Need within 1 month.... What do they do from land search document....
d) Govt rates and revenue: Oh no......... My landlord didn't have the latest one. But had the last querter's. And the latest receipt with acccount number (same as that on previous quarter's document) but not the landlord's name on receipt. But these crazy CC club people cannot accept it. Whatz my fault if my landlord doesn't have it and moreover, he is in Europe. And why they need this document.........

They are so strict in documents and application procudure as if they are provinding free shuttle bus............I heard another bad story about CC clud central from someone........He also went thru lot of pain only in renewing the membership.......

Check AlexHK's post (second one in this thread) which is a scan of the information sheet. The details are at the end of the image.

As the MTR would like to see the buses stopped, the paperwork malarkey is done to dissuade people from joining, IMO.

I ran for the Phase 3 OC committee on a platform of increasing the number of buses to Central, though I have still not yet worked out who to approach.  Personally, I would like a bus to Central at 7am, and a later one at 8:30.  Do others agree?
